We are looking to hire a Shipping Protection Claims Administrator at Beauty Industry Group. You will provide excellent customer experience when claims are filed. You will work with customers to gather information in a timely manner to resolve customer claims efficiently and effectively. You will provide periodic reporting and analysis of claims performance. You will process and record all claims made. You will collect and compile data pertaining to all claims made. You will report to the BIG Director of Servicing
Hybrid Schedule: Tues, Wed, Thursday onsite at our SLC office
Responsibilities
Field calls, emails, or texts from customers with claims?
Meet established service level requirements in contacting customers and processing claims
Submit and manage claims to logistics providers, where appropriate, to recover any compensation for damage or loss due to negligence by logistics provider?
File subsequent claims on behalf of BIG to shipping carriers to maximize recovery?
Investigate customer claims to determine if required criteria is met to cover a loss, damage or theft claim
Communicate clearly with customers any information or required documentation to resolve the claim?
Enter appropriate information into claim management system?
Gather information and prepare reports for audits as needed
Assist in supporting annual audit and other compliance requests?
Perform training for teams as needed
Update templates for customer responses to provide up to date information
Make replacement orders as appropriate in Shopify /NetSuite

Requirements
2+ years of customer service with claims, shipping troubleshooting experience
Prior Shopify/Netsuite experience a plus?
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)?
Working knowledge of Excel; ability to manipulate data in Excel?
Ability to analyze data to present findings and conclusions?
Highly responsive to customers and colleagues?
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight?
Proficient decision maker within established guidelines?
Ability to assess situations and solve problems after gathering necessary data and information?
Able to work with multiple departments? and a team player
Computer literacy, specifically internet-based programs and platforms?
Claims administration experience a plus?
High School graduate or GED – post high school education and/or accounting, finance, or operations experience preferred?
